The ring is then polished by hand and we apply a ceramic Cerakote coating. The JFK Half Dollar or Kennedy Half Dollar was minted in 1964 - present. The obverse side of the coin features the left profile of JFK and the reverse side of the coin features a modified Presidential Seal. The coin was intended as a memorial to the assassination of President Kennedy and authorized by congress about a month after his death.

What is a Cerakote coating? Cerakote is a ceramic coating that we apply to the exterior of all of our coin rings. Coin rings will wear rapidly with Cerakote coating. We are a certified Cerakote applicator and take great care in adding durability and longevity to your purchase.
